FOX picks up three new series, “Lucifer”, “The Frankenstein Code” & “Minority Report”

fox-logo-horizontalJoining Ryan Murphy’s comedic horror anthology Scream Queens, FOX added three more series to their schedule.

Banking on some familiar names: Minority Report, based on the 2002 film, Lucifer, based on the Vertigo comic created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, follows the title character after he tires of reigning over Hell and goes to Los Angeles where he gets his thrills by helping LAPD punish criminals, and The Frankenstein Code. A cop drama with a twist as a morally corrupt cop gets a second chance after he is brought back from the dead.

All of the above sound promising. The real question is whether or not FOX will learn from it’s past mistakes and give them their fair chance or if they will follow their “modus operandi” and cut them before they can get their audience. (Alien Nation, Firefly, Almost Human, etc, etc, etc.)
